Make Movie With D5300 - Mode Selective Color

Selective color lets you record selected hues while leaving other colors in black and white. Choose colors that stand out from the background; if the selected color is the same as the background, the background will be recorded in color as well. You can choose a range of hues, so pick a range that clearly defines the subjects you want to shoot in color. Selective color lets you create an impression by emphasizing particular hues.

Rotate the mode dial to select effects mode (creative mode) and choose selective color. A color selection dialog will be displayed. Choose a color by framing it in the square in the center of the display; the selected colors are listed in boxes at the top of the display.
