CUSTOMER REVIEW (5 Star)
I purchased this camera because I grew out of my old Nikon D5100 that I had
previously owned. This camera is a great upgrade if you are looking to improve
and extend your range of different types of photography. It is not the smallest
or lightest camera that Nikon makes compared to the D3000's and D5000's but it
really is a workhorse. Personally, I like using this camera for everything
including: portraits, landscapes, sports, etc.
People sometimes forget that it doesn't matter what equipment you have it
matters how much experience you have. Yes, equipment can make for better images
but if you don't know how to take great images first the equipment wont do that
for you.
As I said before I use my camera a ton and I love to travel with it. The
battery life is excellent and the weight and grip depth is perfect in my
opinion. The 51-point AF system is fast and accurate. The FPS of the camera is
enough to get the job done for sports and wildlife photography. The built-in
WiFi is great for transferring your pictures onto your phone in full resolution
wherever you are and quickly share them on social media.
